Vincent
Brown is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Metro-Miami Action Plan
Trust (MMAP). MMAP focuses on economic development and revitalization in low income
and impoverished communities. Vincent Brown is charged with planning, directing,
coordinating and implementing policies formulated by MMAP Trust. His responsibilities
also include managing the implementation of MMAP Trust programs (Homeowners Assistance,
Community & Economic Development, Teen Court, and Martin Luther King, Jr.
Leadership Academy.
Vincent Brown is a graduate of St. Thomas University School of Law and Clark-Atlanta University. His many scholastic achievements include the Dean's List, President of the Black Law Student Association and the Moot Court Board. Vincent Brown is also a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated.
Vincent Brown has served the citizens of Miami Dade County for most of his career. He has served as Deputy Director of the County Department of Business development, the County Attorney's Office, a certified legal intern for the State Attorney's Office and an intern for Chief Justice Leander Shaw, Jr., of the Florida Supreme Court.
