After graduation, he served as a Miami-Dade County Prosecutor from 1992-1996. From 1996 to present, Mark has devoted his practice to exclusively State and Federal Criminal Defense with the Miami-based firm of Robbins, Tunkey, Ross, Amsel, Raben, Waxman & Eiglarsh, P.A. The firm enjoys an "AV rating" from Martindale-Hubbells' rating system, which is the highest rating obtainable by any law firm.

For the past several years, Mark served on the Board of Directors of the Dade County Bar Young Lawyers Section, earning national recognition for his work as Chairman of the Schools Committee.

Mark is extremely passionate about his extensive involvement in community service efforts. Mark continues to serve on the Board of Directors of Big Brothers/Big Sisters (on the board for the past 5 years) and has served as a mentor to an "at risk" child for the past nine years. He served as past legal counsel to the agency and chair of the Volunteer Recruitment Council. As chair of the Volunteer Recruitment Council, Mark and his co-volunteers achieved enormous success recruiting hundreds of community volunteers to serve as mentors to children in need.

Along with attorney Justin Elegant, Eiglarsh designed and implemented the "Ementoring Program," which pairs local attorneys with high school students who form friendships and are mentored primarily via the internet. The program has been so successful over the past several years, it has been duplicated in several cities throughout the United States.

Mark is a Leadership Miami Graduate and former Board Member of the Kiwanis Club of Biscayne Bay, where he served as past president. He also volunteers his time with the "Make A Wish Foundation."

His favorite quotation is, "Community Service is the rent that we pay for the space that we take up on Earth."

Other then the success that he has enjoyed by serving this community, Mark is most proud of his wife and best friend Beth, and his beautiful children Evan and recently born, Julia.
