Blair Walker is the creator of Darryl Billups, a witty, irreverent Baltimore newspaper reporter whose crime-solving abilities rival his skills as a journalist. "Up Jumped the Devil" and "Hidden in Plain View" were published by Avon Books i 1997 and 1999 respectively. Random House released "Don't Believe Your Lying Eyes" in 2002. Booklist says the Darryl Billups series is "full of raucous good humor, tragedy, suspense, flashy bad guys and flashier ladies."
Blair is also the writer behind "Why Should White Guys Have All the Fun?: How Reginald Lewis Created a Billion-Dollar Business Empire" and "Inner City Miracle," the autobiography of TV personality Judge Greg Mathis. A Baltimore native who is an Army veteran and has a University of Maryland law degree, Blair recently moved to Miami from Maryland.
