Ceresta Smith
Ceresta Smith currently resides in the Carol City, a predominately African-American community in Miami, Florida, with her husband, two sons, and daughter. Originally, born in Burlington, Iowa; she relocated to the Washington D.C. metro area and is an alumni of American University, a liberal arts institution located in Washington D.C. Continuing her migratory pattern, she relocated to the Miami-metro area in 1989 and began a career in education. She is employed by Miami-Dade County Public Schools and the University of Miami. teaches. Along with her husband and three others visionaries, she incorporated a business, Allie Jones Music and Film Production Company, July 2002.
Ms. Smith has three major community based goals: to build Allie Jones, of which she is the chief executive officer, into a production studio of world-class status; to contribute her talents positively to impact the growth of Millennium Movers; and to stay committed to building the African- American community in which she resides by not leaving and by assisting in its growth and development.
